Youth Tennis Lessons
Pine Acres offers abundant opportunities to learn and improve your tennis game, whether you are just starting out or are a seasoned veteran. Our programs include youth and adult group lessons and clinics, as well as scheduled singles and doubles ladders throughout the summer.
Lessons are included in your family membership! 6 weeks, Monday-Thursday (make-ups on Fridays). Please note Friday, June 26 will be a normal lesson day due to the late dismissal from school.

Meet Our New Tennis Pro
My name is Max Vivian and I have been a PTR-Certified tennis coach for 13 years. In the offseason, I work at the Rocky Hill Tennis and Fitness Center & East Hartford Tennis Club. I have worked with lead-up programs at the Australian Open, Wimbledon, and the U.S. Open teaching lessons across ten countries.
I played four years of varsity tennis at Wethersfield High School culminating in the number one singles position in my last two years. I still play in multiple local adult leagues, regularly with Coach Roets, the current WHS boy’s tennis coach.
Outside of tennis, I am happiest when traveling out of the country, reading sci-fi or mystery book, and having dinner with my friends at The Charles.
My first tennis lesson as a player was at Pine Acres in 1997, and my first lesson as coach was at Pine Acres in 2007. I have fond memories of both the tennis and swim teams growing up and am very excited to be back where I started to show the people the sport I know and love. Go Bulldogs!
